I’m an environmental scientist/plant biologist from Ontario who realized when I moved to Alberta just how much help is needed for the Eco Fight. Add to this realization an opinionated nature, an (admittedly sinful) enjoyment of shopping, and a passion for writing and educating people, and voila, you get Your EcoSource.

What will you find here? Anything I think is fabulously green. I firmly believe in fitting green consciousness into our 21st century lives, not rearranging our lives to fit a notion of what it is to be green. Green IS stylish, hip, and fun. It might be a change, but it doesn’t have to be a sacrifice. What will you never find here? Propaganda, half truths, or any other kind of misinformation. Years of science training have built up my research muscles and taught me to recognize good science from bad. Rest assured that I’ve checked the literature before writing my posts, so you don’t have to check it after reading them.
